A new region has been officially established in the Philippines: the Davao Region.
The country’s newest region was formally established on Tuesday by President Rodrigo Duterte as part of a regional plan.
The Davao region covers more than 11,000 square kilometers of the country’s northeast, including the capital, Quezon City.
The region is officially known as the Region of the Nation, or RON.
President Rodrigo Duterte said that the Davos Region will “provide an ideal environment to grow, thrive and prosper.”
The region includes areas that are predominantly populated by Filipinos.
“The Davaos Region is an important part of the Philippines, an integral part of our country and the most important regional place in the world,” he said.
Duterte said that there are a total of 22 major cities and towns located in the Davoz Region.
The region has about 1.2 million people.
According to a CNN Philippines article, the region is known for its unique geography.
It includes parts of the Andaman Sea, the central Andaman Islands and the eastern Philippine Sea.
“In the region of the nation, the capital city of Davao, the most populated region, is called the capital,” Duterte said.
The President said that Davao is the countrys most populated city with a population of about 1 million.
The area is also the largest and most populous of the six provinces of the northern Philippines.
“With the growth and expansion of the economy, Davao will become an international financial center,” Duterte added.
President Duterte said the region will be an “excellent” and “special place.”
The countrys biggest cities include Manila, Quezantan, Queretaro, and Davao.
There are also major airports, including Hacienda Hermosa and Quezon International Airport, and many small towns.
